Between us

"All the way to heaven is heaven"
— St. Catherine of Siena

and then there is you and I and the
distance held between us.
heaven pressed against flesh to the
bones of our existence.
all the way - and more - our desries lead to
eden

Dear Eric, I do remember this, it still has the power to overwhelm with its beauty.
Saints find heaven also in the pain. Is there love without pain? No peak can be experienced to the fullest without the awareness of the underlying abyss.
Desire gives us wings.
Thank you!
Love,
Margherita

and thank you Margherita!
I have been adding a little to older poems - not changing but putting a bit of a post-script on along with the images (that you have inspiired me to add!).
It's fun re-visiting these words and remembering the old Chopra and pip days!

Love,
Eric
