In Perfect Order

through and as - we are the infinite
expressed as such.

and no intervention needed

it all belongs in perfect
order

~
Our divinity belongs as is - human, and all the variables that follow this inclusion. There is no need to doubt our faults and what may seem to not belong within the framework of our acceptance. Nothing is out of order, nor lacking to this moment.
Even our wish for things to be other
fits in how things are.
As does our actions performed while seeking change.
And so we find ourselves relaxing.
With nothing left to do - but
simply be.

Eric

There Is No Self Apart From The World

yet not my will, but yours be done - and in this I the absence of myself, a true surrender of illusion and control, awakening to this very moment and the reality that it holds. In this there is clear seeing, I am not an individual life steering through a chaotic world by chance and will - I am Life itself, expressed in the unique manner of thought and form, yet no more removed from the whole than a flower from earth or sun from sky.
It's all one thing.
My body is lived through by grace and presence, organic, and even my my false sense of will fits within a great belonging. My claim is a self that somehow could force a separation of the whole, demanding a recognition of its own. It's can't be done. There is no self apart from the world, no will greater than existence.
Thy will by done - is my surrender.

It's Simply Being

it's not forgiveness, nor surrendering, nor even a
release to present moment - it's
simply Being.

and all that this entails

we are right here, now,
always.

~
it really is simple - relax. The present moment is all inclusive, it holds exactly what it holds, and nothing more. Yet here, this moment, we find it all. And that includes what we need to take the next breath, for our hearts to beat, to carry on for one more day, or minute or the very next second. Until, of course, it doesn't.
Then we find ourselves as something
entirely new.

Eric

Meditation Of Alone

it's a meditation of alone - yet not in solitary fashion, this is the alone of one thing in full welcome of itself in every guise the world offers. It's a meditative greeting, the true sense of namaste, and in this sense we're alone as only one existence.
It's all, and only, ever
one.

Holding All The World `

it's curious, this undefined region from nowhere to world, from clearly seeing my own absences to finding myself as thought and form. There's no border crossed, no point where there is a sudden becoming, emptiness traded for solidity. It's simply one existence appearing in a subtle fashion from it's own formless nature. Turning my attention directly back to source, my eyes giving search for their own appearance - I find myself as nothing. But again, looking outward, and once more I am found. It's not a trick of faith, believing in an illusive trade of views. It's the paradox of my nature. What I find in my disappearance is capacity.
From there - I reemerge as the view, holding
all the world.
In truth, it's all one thing, happening at
once, always.

Sometimes It's Called Love

sometimes it's called love - the easy acceptance of the present moment, nothing excluded, and more so, intimacy in the sense of one thing truly being an extension of what appears to be another. It's a great flow of energy and all things are expressed in unique fashion within an aware embrace of presence.
It's happening now.
And we too are this love.
Even when we don't remember - it happens simply on
its own.

Forgiveness Is The Way

perhaps forgiveness is the way - and the means of practice is given each moment. It's as natural as the breath, and heartbeat, an easy acceptance that this moment - simply is. Our forgiveness is nothing more than the natural expression of our aware nature.
It's an active force - done without effort.
Everything is included.
Without exception.
Even our forgetting that is is so, perhaps especially forgiving ourselves for this, and in this recognition we offer ourselves the peace of present moment acceptance.
Aware of our own forgiveness.

Not Knowing

not knowing - it's our innocence, original self, that has no concern to what arrives, or the length of what may stay. Our true self has no need to plan, no desire past the allowance of each moment. It's enough to simply Be.
Everything is included.
And that's all we really know
for certain.

See If This Is So

without faith - and only awareness of
this moment known,

yet still, and always,
presence

~
It's not necessary to rely on faith, or beliefs that things may be as other have said or holy books have stated. There is now, this moment, and our right to see our own truth exactly as it's held. We are our own authority on this, our place in the world, and from where it all begins, and if an ending is in sight.
Simply look.
Inquire.
Nothing is found but presence.
And nothing real is lost.
See if this is so....

Eric

And Somehow - Here I Am

it's not my absence from the world - really more an expansion of self to the point beyond the limitations of what a self could possibly hold. This presence is no longer (always) known as a singular point that views the world from the vantage of its separation. Clearly seen, it's not my presence at all, but a continuous spread of all existence that allows a distinction of thought and form to appear and which I claim in time to call my own.
Yet at no point have I broken from the whole.
It's still, and always, presence.
So it's not my absence - there is still a self that remains conscious of it's unique arising within the art-scape of existence. But now there is a seeing of how this self truly belongs, a mysterious play of formless nature in full allowance of what may come to be.
And somehow - here I am.

Yes, Because Even This

because even this - and in this inclusion we find each detail of the world. It's a simple mantra of acceptance, a nod that even this experience, or thought, or deed, belongs now by simple virtue of its appearance. The magic is that this demands no effort on our part, no approval, nor even desire to make changes in these affairs.
It's just a knowing that things are as they are - for however long they are.
And even our fight against the present moment, yes, because
even this - belongs.
In this knowing, we find ourselves relaxing.

We Just Don't Know

and we just don't know - it's a mystery of identity, and the only thing certain is mystery itself, everything else is speculation imposed on the original void of our reality. Including this. Yet our experience of mystery, our arrival from nowhere, and now this - an awake presence in the world of form - is far beyond the scope of words. But we try, and that too belongs in whatever sense it's needed for us to navigate the world.
To come to this acceptance - of our wish to know, and that we, as the unknowable, reside in a constant shifting truth - is enough.
We're awake.

Powerless

it's a relief to find myself powerless - certainly there is a choice still in my day to day concerns, preferences, and strong opinion. Yet there is no drive or overriding force to pull me towards a greater good nor a sense of karmic will that brings to a set point destiny. What there is, what I find right now, is simply this moment, and completely given to it there is no possibility for things to be other than they are. My own will means nothing in regard to right now, what the present moment holds, and how it may unfold. Of course what comes next is full of mystery and endless possibilities  - but the power it holds is not my own. I am simply part of it, of perhaps better said - I too am the mystery and the momentary end result of possibilities made manifest now and will again be swept to the stream and source of infinite power.
I know nothing beyond right now.
And even that is just a guess.

For The Acceptance Of Ourselves

it's just what we offer - our own absence of self for the sake of world and the appearance of others. We serve solely as capacity, empty to the point that all of existence fits within what is known as a moment. This too is our own gift, given to the thoughts and characteristics that have gathered to form and we call our own, we have offered space for the acceptance of ourselves.

All I See Is Undivided From The Eyes

a seer, of sorts - as only scenery remains, and the
notion of the one who watches gently
lingers through the
mind

~
it's not like I vanish, no memories cherished, or lose the sense of time - no, seeing is simply the absence of a dividing notion that there is a self separate from what's seen. Even my thoughts of being other than the scene exist wholly in a frame-less view of one. Yes, I am a seer (and so are you) - and all I see is undivided from the eyes.

Eric

I Just Looked

I just looked - no intention beyond seeing if indeed there was someone existing in a solid state separate from the world. It was an exercise in belief, my own conclusions drawn now for the first time, no reliance on the gospel of secondhand information, only believing exactly in what was found. My first look, attention directed away from objects, tracing my line of vision to its source, in fact, searching to see myself for the very first time, to behold my own eyes and find the place where I believed my thoughts resided.
Nothing.
It could all end here - a novel trick and slight of faith. Yet I found myself in a curious absence of self, with room to explore, aware, and it was this emptiness that held my thoughts, this body that appeared as mine, and further still it held the world, or perhaps better said it was all just one great beholding.
So I just looked.
And I saw.
No my life unfolds from seeing - the view always presenting itself as my own extension and the willingness to simply greet it all in my own spacious awareness.
It really is that easy.

Is Our Devotion

it's a constant surrender - yet not to or
from a single thing,

the action itself is our
devotion

~
each moment is let go of completely on it's own, nothing is needed from us, nor is it even possible for our participation. It simply happens. We play no role in this, and in this acceptance - we are free.

Eric

Marked By Absence

we are marked by absence - our own self told as truth yet only partially believed. It only takes a single glance in the right direction to reveal ourselves as fiction in the sense that we are a solid, solo entity set apart from one another. Looking back, towards the source of sight itself, our attention placed only on what's found, it's clear that we are absent to our own view. Yet fully aware. And more, we have sensed this all along, not quite believing in the reality presented by mirrors, and opinions told by others. We knew that there was both more and less to what we are. It's seen that we are intertwined with the world, at no point do we leave off in separation, no beginning of a self is found. This is the absence that we're marked by, never quite knowing ourselves again as a solid face to the world but only spaciousness willing to serve for the appearance of it all.

Shown As Light

as large as the world, and further still we hold the stars in our embrace - and there's are spacious nature shown in a glance. Our inquiry leads to an emptiness of a supposed self, a view returned to its source reveals first the absence of seer and then an awakening to our intimate belonging to all that's seen. We are not empty of but empty for - and in this we are not separate from whatever our view may hold.
Indeed, to see the stars in no less than
our own extension shown as
light.

Always Allowing Just One More Thing

as love to your favor - empty of
all save it's
caress

always allowing just one more
thing to belong.

~
it's like this, love, our capacity in favor of allowing each other, objects, the world in their appearance. Our emptiness is love and serves to hold the view without regard to what arises. It's a single great caress against only itself in the guise of different forms. To this Douglas Harding declares that we are face to no-face in the exchange of our together. And indeed, there are times when my view only contains only you, I lessen to the extant that only love remains.
And this too is how we serve the world.

I Am All That It Contains

seeing, and it's as much about what's not found as it is what's seen. My own absence is traced back from a world of objects to the formlessness of true self. In my return view there is nothing that resembles the form I thought I owned, my eyes sightless to themselves, spaciousness where I believed my head belonged.
and yet -
seeing, there's now the world that is my own
continuation as awareness.
I am not limited as me.
I'm the view
as well,
and more - I am all that it
contains.

Unseen - Yet Holding All The World

there is a certain trust in the unseen - from a world of objects our view is traced back to its source, looking for a solid understanding on the nature of the seer. It's here - that we come to know ourselves as presence, for nothing solid is found, no single point that brings distinction from our surroundings. What we find is emptiness, and yet an emptiness divine in its capacity to serve the world in its embrace, to give rise to objects without break or diminish of its hold.
We find presence
Ourselves
Unseen - yet holding all the world.

Resting In The Obvious

our meditation now becomes resting in the obviousness of self and world as one, more so, that they never exist apart - we are spacious, and too, all which fills this spaciousness as well. The great lie is that we are witness to it all, participants in life, and separate in our conclusions. We see ourselves as a set point from which there is a beginning and end to the things of our concern. Yet questions, our investigation, will lead us not to answers but again to the obvious - we are here, no lines drawn to distinguish us from world, from life, from empty recognition to fulfillment through each other. Resting here, indeed, it's obvious there is only, always, what's found within this moment.

Innocent Of The Good Opinions Of Others

it's not asking who am I - but looking, sincerely, innocent of the good opinions of others. My inquiry is inclusive of the view, eliminating only the second hand faith of expectations and what might be found. If it's not here, now, and not revealed further in investigation - it's let go as wishful thinking. To live this exploration is not seeking, nor a practice - it's simply seeing, inspired by the view and the awareness from which the view belongs.
It's Being.

It Is, And So Are We

right now, and no effort needed for the
suchness of the moment.

~
originally in writing the above I had in mind the word "wonder" in place of suchness - and while it's true that each moment contains its share of wonders, the word itself fails to capture the essence of what I wished to imply. Before a moment is defined by thought, it simply exists without regard to what we will make of it, it's life expressed fully, as is, beyond description or perception of the mind. But we know it, we're part of it, suchness expressed as human form. To give to it more than this would be to lose it all together - creating a story in our minds of how the world should be. Right now, with no effort needed, it is, and so are we.

Primordial Inclusion

it's how we see - and not just an outward view, but now, it's the clear space of our own absence, seeing for moments on end from original source. In fact, it's nothing special other than existing in primordial inclusion, before a label given, or judgment held. It's how we see all the time - but have mistaken concepts for what's seen. Original sight is simply a return to innocence. Seeing, from here, all is found as belonging to the view.
even labels
judgments
concepts
Yet - they're seen as what they are.
And seeing just
continues on.
