Marked By Absence

we are marked by absence - our own self told as truth yet only partially believed. It only takes a single glance in the right direction to reveal ourselves as fiction in the sense that we are a solid, solo entity set apart from one another. Looking back, towards the source of sight itself, our attention placed only on what's found, it's clear that we are absent to our own view. Yet fully aware. And more, we have sensed this all along, not quite believing in the reality presented by mirrors, and opinions told by others. We knew that there was both more and less to what we are. It's seen that we are intertwined with the world, at no point do we leave off in separation, no beginning of a self is found. This is the absence that we're marked by, never quite knowing ourselves again as a solid face to the world but only spaciousness willing to serve for the appearance of it all.
