Finished the week off with a bit over 40 miles total - quite a drop from the 70+ last week but felt like I needed it. I may shoot for a bit more this week and then a final week to taper fully. Shoes are becoming an issue of concern right now as I'm not sure that the Trail Gloves will be the best option for CAT. I'm thinking that the NB101's may be the better option as they're still minimal but offer a bit more protection. If I can make it out to CAT once before the race I'll have a better perspective on shoes. Funny enough last year I raced in La Sportiva Cross Lites as I thought the 101's might be to minimal for CAT. Times (and feet) have changed.
