Karma Yoga

Karma Yoga:

really, it's the way of motion, of our participation with life, and that karma yoga is simply a description of the depth of our involvement, that through the means of our surrender to the actual activity of being alive, we are graced with freedom from attachment to the outcome.

karma yoga is consider the path of action, of selfless service without any concern from what we may gain or if the situation may play in our favor. We act with devotion to the activity, our attention given completely to whatever the task at hand, and through this we a sense of liberation from our normal expectations of both achievement and failure. There is no gain or loss here, only our participation, the performance of the deed itself, and as life is motion, it's an ongoing affair, always an opportunity to engage with life through whatever happens to be happening.

karma yoga is of being alive.

in motion.

and being in love that this is so.

with this we could say that it's less about attention given than it is of our devotion, just an easy and natural awareness of whatever happens to appear, or any task we have at hand. Karma yoga is the way of opportunity, with life always presenting us a means to give ourselves to any chance performance. This is why my preference is to think of it as motion, that it's an ongoing affair, and that in any moment I can gain my liberation by simply being present, at ease with every situation by virtue of my surrender. Through this...life itself is the means to freedom.

and we're always alive.

always in motion.

being in love with all we do.

but remember that this is true love, one without preference, and perhaps more easily appreciated as pure awareness. Love doesn't hold conditions, it's never withholding, and is simply, always, presence. To be aware is to love, it's an easy formula to remember, that life itself holds everything in love, and that no action needs to be taken to make this so...we are aware, naturally, without ant effort given. It's who we are and karma yoga is just a description given to a life seen through this awareness.

we're already free.

always in love.

and that's how we surrender...by just remembering who we truly are.

it's an easy formula.
