Tending To Wounds

attending to it all - there is but one suffering shared between us, although unique in ways expressed and known. To tend to another's wounds is to bring a healing to the world. This too is for ourselves as alone, our own tenderness returned in loving fashion, and what feels small, separate and alone, again is seen as whole. I cannot heal without you. For the very capacity that reveals my wholeness is found only in your view. Through you I am tended to, seen, my wounds exposed to loving air and the whisper of winds heard as healing words. It's the same that I offer to you - our wounds exchanged for the wholeness found through each other. This is only done by recognition that no one ever suffers alone, it's one thing, one wound, even if felt most deep by another. Tending to my wounds is always a healing shared between us, as is my offering to you - and so too, we heal the world.
