Update

Four days out from the North Face 50k Endurance Challenge and three weeks out from the Mohican 100. Goals are clear - to me at least: relax, have fun, try a whole food approach to fueling without being dogmatic, and make it through the night for the Mohican. Notice I didn't mention any specific time or distance - they're important - just less so than those first stated. Finishing a 100 mile ultra is a priority - I'm just not so sure this one is for a number of reasons. I will do my best and I hope my best on that day will be a finish. If not...it will be soon.
