and for me, the insight is to simply, only, relax - allowing happens through no effort of my own, and what appears is always allowed by virtue of my observation. The desire to try and change events, to shift my emotions to a more agreeable state, may still surface - yet that deep sense of fear presented to what's occurring, or the deeper fear of what's to come, no longer drives me from this moment. To relax in the presence of this, no matter what it may be is the openness of being alive. As Roman playwright Terence claimed -"I am human, and I think nothing human is alien to me." So too for me - and in this I find myself relaxing.
