A Zen master asks, “Show me your Original Face, the face you had before your parents were born.”
~
My face - traded now for spaciousness and view. With attention turned towards the origin of my gaze, there is nothing to be found, no borders, no defined edge that holds my placement in the world. Only space, an open capacity that allows all things to be. This is my original face. Our original face. We are a shared seer, as well as continuous in being seen as alone, one thing, seamless. We are empty for each other, and empty for the world to be.
Just look.
~
Trade yourself for the distance of the view - and every step unfolds as home.
Peace,
Eric
