The runner is a third entity - a new presence emerging from the marriage of self and path. There is alchemy in this becoming. Until we have given ourselves to the gold of motion there is lead within the soul.There is a formula in the becoming of a runner - a sacred ritual of steps and soul laid against the path. We are the beginning - and then the desire. A moment on the path - and our steps soon turn to gold.
