Without Measure

without measure - for grace extends, directionless, and always as our own belonging. There is no distance in seeing, no point of separation in listening. Everything emerges in a seamless fashion - an object rises from the capacity given by our empty nature, a birds song is heard across the silent field of our connection. We are joined by this. To see another is to recognize the space that was reserved for them alone, and in this endless welcome there always room for one more. True listening is simply silence shared as our response, we hear, and offer ourselves in understanding. All of this is immediate, without effort, and beyond the measure of any time or distance between us and all the world.

Peace,
Eric
