and now - we find it less important to be mindful of breath and thought, to bring our attention back to present moment. Now we simply look, aware, abiding in the emptiness at the near end of our gaze - reminding ourselves that we are space for breath and thought to wander.

It's a simple meditation for running - distance is here, this step, now. There's no place else we have to be.
