To Truly See Our Lack Of Motion

It's the movement of self that's the illusion - our point is stillness and we remain in this existence as the world and its every aspect pass through. Unaffected. We are changeless in this regard - a compassionate embrace for all that passes. So in our truest sense we are motionless travelers laid down as the path itself. We are witness to the world at large.

And with my very long run this weekend I allowed myself to be less a runner and more the capacity for the scenery to pass through me. Even the rain. It was a hundred mile opportunity to see. To truly see. And sometimes I did.

Peace,
Eric
