Over

Over:

we want the peace of God, and this seems a lofty goal, always out of reach. Yet lesson 185 of A Course in Miracles tells us that this is entirely attainable, and more so, that it is ours already - we only have to surrender the false beliefs of separation, letting go of the illusion of the world we see.

the peace of God is ours already.

and to truly mean this...

everything's forgiven.

dreams are over,

we're home.

right now.

it's that simply, but of course not quite so easy. We are adept dreamers, masters really, and the false reality of this world proves this so. Life can be exceedingly difficult, often severe in its toll, and we're fortunate for just a few moments of real joy.

the peace of God seems very far indeed.

and so the sincerity of our request is vital, a heart-felt plea to truly know this promised peace. The problem though, is that we're reluctant to renounce our very special dream, cherishing those things that keep us trapped within their troubled existence.

we're not quite ready to be sincere.

and so the dream continues.

at least until we're ready to let go, finished with cherishing all the things that never  truly bring us peace of mind. We're now finally sincere. Lesson 185 reminds us that this is all we need, and that the next step, the only step, is offered through forgiveness.

we renounce our dreams of specialness.

seeing others as joined to this cause.

forgiving...

until the dream is over.

5 and 34

5 and 34:

lessons 5 and 34 of A Course in Miracles give us a complete practice, an entire path laid clear with just these two simple passages. This came to my attention through Course teacher Kenneth Wapnick, how he would continuously return to these lessons in many of his talks and writing and stress the importance to truly understand them. Although there's 29 lessons between them, and neither are placed with more emphasis than any other, if fully taken to heart -

they are enough to set us free.

I am never upset for the reason I think, lesson 5 urges us to examine our every fear: from smallest upset to largest distress, we're asked to seem them all as opportunities for miracles. A miracles here, as offered by the Course, is a shift of perception, that through inquiring into the nature of whatever upsets us, we come to see how our projections fill each present moment with thoughts placed firmly from the past. Our freedom lies in seeing this, and then, we lesson 34 in mind -

a shift is asked for:

I could see peace instead of this.

this is the miracles of any situation, a prayer for an internal exchange of past distress for the innocence of the present moment. We could see peace right now, regardless of what's presented to us, if only we let go of thoughts that bind us to memories of the past.

our freedom is always right now.

it's a continuous choice.

each moment....

we're asking for a miracle.

and lessons 5 and 34 remind us...

it's just a mind-shift away.

Invitation

Invitation;

the question posed in chapter 11 of A Course in Miracles is whether we wish to be hostage to ego or host to God, and that it's simply a matter of invitation. It's reassuring to consider that we could simply invite the Holy Spirit to respond for us in any given situation, that the default voice of ego is truly an option and doesn't have to be our sole choice of reason.

yet it seems we've entirely forgotten there's an alternative.

or that the Holy Spirit is even present within.

but the Holy Spirit is always our better option, truly our only one, as ego holds us hostage to a false identity, a collection of stories that will only rehash the past and limit us to the most familiar choices. It should be clarified here that the Course describes the Holy Spirit as the healing source of our misperception of the separation from the eternal peace of God. It's our present presence that's always available to guide us home.

it only waits for our invitation.

so in each moment, with every opportunity...

hostage,

or host?

the choice is ours.

Vital Awakening

Vital Awakening:

forgiveness is our vital awakening, as A Course in Miracles says; it's bringing fantasy to truth, releasing us from a world of guilt and separation. We desperately need to awaken from our collective dream of being lost. In many ways this task seems hopeless. It's a world of horrors, filled with violence, ancient hatred,  and we're so brief in time's appearance.

how could we ever make a difference with so much against us?

and the answer is forgiveness.

not collectively,

but individually, personally...through every situation.

because with this we begin to see the world bright again, light filled is in it's original creation. Any dream only needs a moment to awaken from, and forgiveness offers us a Holy Instant to extend to each other, a torch that sheds darkness with its gentle touch of light.

our dream world isn't real.

only love is.

and forgiveness is our awakening.

To Ask

To ask:

all it takes is a miracle, and as the Course reminds us, miracles are natural and it's when they don't happen that we know something has gone wrong. As well, there's no order of difficulties here, no degrees of asking, a miracle is given through the sincerity of our request.

and yet it always seems we wait so long to ask.

allowing ourselves to suffer way longer than we should.

a miracles, as offered by A Course in Miracles, is simply a change of perception, a shift away from the grievances held and fully to the grace of forgiveness. It's the easiest thing to ask for, not even a cry for help, but more of a gentle reach for comfort - and it's never denied. We have to remember to ask though, to just remember that it's possible to be released from our suffering.

we will be guided.

all it takes is for a little willingness...

that's it.

be willing to ask for help.

open to a direction.

and then surrender to the answer of forgiveness.

Selfish

Selfish:

it could be said that I'm mostly selfish in how I live my life, concerned with feeling truly good and free of all grievances and resentments. I don't want to be caught up in the ancient wounds of a past life, to not carry over all of my previous complaints that weigh my present moment down. My main purpose is forgiveness, surrendering anything that's ever hurt me and allowing love to guide me.

selfish in the intent to be free of all my former troubles.

experiencing only love right now.

and yet not really selfish, once established in love there is little trace of a self anymore, not in a true sense, although it still certainly makes its presence known. What's different here is lightness, it's an identity shift away from the heaviness of an ego dominated existence and more towards a joyful life that holds my previous themes more lightly. There's a happiness present that's simply less concerned with the experiences of ego -

a more self-less life.

free,

unbound,

and with an expanding sense of love.

To The Quiet Mind

To the Quiet Mind:

a Holy Instant is always possible yet most often denied, it's ignored or shouted down by the clamor of our minds. Since it's beyond time, an instant that's eternal, the Holy Instant is available at this very moment, only requiring our surrender to the quiet mind of God.

A Course in Miracles describes the Holy Instant as simply a prayer to God, asking that our thoughts of illusions be replaced by reality, that we be witness to the truth of who we are, letting go of the false notions that we are small and isolated in anyway.

it's asking for a miracle.

a shift of perception.

it's meeting each other exactly where we are right now,

and surrendering our every conflict...

to the quiet mind of God.

Content

Content:

in a sense I'll contradict myself here. Where previously I've written of forgiveness being a forgetfulness of past perceptions so that the present moment shines bright in its light of healing - it is equally vital to point to the importance of remembering, that what we're really doing with forgiveness is remembering the truth within one another, looking past misperception of form to the reality of our content.

with forgiveness,

we remember to remember who we truly are.

so with this,

we see our holiness beyond form.

where only content matters,

and forgiveness is already given...

before it's even asked for.

A Continuous Undoing

A continuous undoing;

my only true practice is forgiveness. Everything else just helps settles the mind into an easier place that allows for this to happen. There's a reason, many actually, that keeps forgiveness as a continuous practice for me - and mainly it's due to my own insistence on making the illusions of the past so real, bringing them fresh to mind every time they thought-tug within me. But this has become a much more joyful process for me me now, more of an undoing of a self-created and pain-filled world.

indeed, forgiveness is a great forgetting.

what forgiveness is, at least as offered through A Course in Miracles, is a refusal to make the past real. It reminds me, as often as needed, that in this moment, the only time that truly exists, forgiveness isn't even truly needed - only love is real, and nothing exists beyond this. It took me a very long time to accept this as my mind clung to every single past resentment, making false idols of those who seemed to hurt me, and thus keeping past situations present right through the innocence of each new moment. It was a shame really, I could have just as easily rested in a peaceful heart and mind.

but of course I didn't know that.

as a practice though, a continuous undoing of a thought-created world - I am able to remind myself that what I thought was ever done to me by another, never truly happened. As the Course says, forgiveness doesn't pardon sins and make them real. It sees no sin at all.

and thus,

everything's forgiven.

there's nothing in this present moment to remember.

as only love is ever found.

Attack Thoughts

Attack thoughts:

how easy it is to turn towards attack thoughts, being the strange foundation we've forced our life upon, as it seems that every relationship is negotiable in our minds. That's the nature of what A Course in Miracles calls special relationships, certain people and circumstances that are elevated in our esteem before just as quickly they turn poison in a shift of thinking.

there's no real love here,

only bargaining.

somehow we've come to believe that attack thoughts, in whatever form they might take, will keep us safe and well protected from our vulnerability. But the very nature of any special relationship is to eventually crumble and what's left is only the rubble of opinion, a shifting focus from what we once adored to how miserable we feel now.

it's also a lost opportunity.

every relationship, no matter it's status, is an opportunity to learn forgiveness. Everyone is fighting their own battle, all of us, those attack thoughts turned against ourselves and seeking to be healed. We've invested great hope in the promise of another, believing that this one person, finally, is the long held salvation we've so disparately longed for.

at least until the promise seems broken.

but the truth is that we've used these relations as props for ego.

self-aggrandizing through our projection.

and eventually

they'll always fail.

the real promise here, in every relationship, is forgiveness.

we can forgive ourselves towards a holy moment.

two people who turns consistently, continuously,

towards the light of self-recognition.

we see the truth beneath the internal battle we've all been fighting, looking past, and indeed, forgetting the past hurt we believe they may have caused. It's in this light that we see others, ourselves as well, as being blameless. It's this same light, holy, that sets them free. No one is responsible for the cause of our attack. It's a self-made prison composed of our thoughts.

we can just as easily let them go.

and through forgiveness,

every relationship once made special...

is now seen in holy light.

Our True Thoughts

Our true thoughts:

the entirety of A Course in Miracles is found in every single lesson, and maybe even each line within the text. It's message is available to us now if we're only open to receive it, able to hear the voice of love speak silently, intuitively deeply to our core.

everything ties into its beautiful introduction:

nothing real can be threatened.

nothing unreal exist.

herein lies the peace of God.

that's it, the entirety of the Course and the understanding of these three sentences reverberates throughout the whole book. Here's Lesson 45 as an example: God is in the Mind with which I think, and with the understanding offered by the introduction we see that only thoughts that echo the voice of God, that express love through the language of forgiveness, are our true thoughts. Anything else is the shout of ego making itself known through expressing fear, division, or guilt.

those thoughts aren't our true thoughts.

we are not an ego.

our real thoughts, expressed from the heart-center, are firmly and only in the Mind of God. Lesson 45 urges us to listen, deeply so, past the clatter of ego to our true thoughts. Intuitively we know the difference between the false thoughts of ego and those that draw us towards the reality of love. We're just out of practice, a lifetime of ignoring our sacred voice has left us temporarily deaf to its urges.

but we know.

and each lesson, almost every line of the Course -

simply reminds us to listen.

only love is real.

any other thought...

is just an illusion belonging to the ego.

as nothing unreal exists.

herein lies the peace of God.

Forgetting

Forgetting:

to remember that it's a practice, that forgiveness isn't a one and done deal but an entire lifetime of undoing what we believe is real and lasting. The common theme most often heard now is that one should forgive, yes, yet never forget lest we get hurt again. Of course this only serves to keep the event fresh in mind, we're ego-watchful for the slightest sign of wrong doing.

never really at peace with ourselves or others.

from the perspective of A Course in Miracles, forgiveness isn't even of memory, or anything else that makes a hurtful moment seem real. When we forgive, or as we practice doing so, we simply return to the original innocence of the present moment, wise and discerning, yet without a past to hold against anyone. We're free, no longer crucified by a done existence past, and we're now willing to extend this same freedom to others.

we've chosen the resurrection.

so the truth here is to forget our own perceived sins, and not to make them seem real again. Once our own innocence is recognized, truly so, we can only offer it to others as an extension of our love. As the Course explains at the very beginning -

only love is real.

nothing unreal exist.

therein lies the peace of God.

Everything I want

Everything I want:

I am enlightened only through you, my own salvation being wholly dependent upon the forgiveness I extend to others. This was the promise that A Course in Miracles offered me, it was a turn around from my contemplative practice, asking me not to seek enlightenment, but to heal, and this takes place only in the moment that forgiveness is given. Decades later now and I find this to be true, more so than ever actually, as there's an instant awaken through forgiving others that seems to deepen with further practice. This happens though their release from the misperception that they are somehow separate from me.

forgiveness is the illumination that brings an end to this illusion.

and it only happens when I extend this light to you.

lesson 122 of the Course describes how forgiveness offers everything I want - and it aligns so perfectly with my own awakening every time I offer forgiveness to those I've misperceived. I am truly enlightened through the release of ego and the acceptance of the reality of love. Forgiveness truly does offer everything I want...

and was present even before I knew exactly what I wanted.

enlightenment has been always available.

it was just a forgiving thought away.

Easier

Easier:

there's less involvement with the ego now, a more gentle voice more often listened to - and with this the mind drifts naturally, easily, to its proper place of peace.

completely on its own.

two voices, one that speaks first, loudest, and is always wrong in its choice for peace of mind. That's the ego and I recognize it by its demands, a sharp urge to act in defense of all that it cherishes so greatly. I've come to value this voice, it's important to me for the distinctions that it offers, providing a starting point for my heart and mind to mend.

but it's the other one, a true and soft voice...

guiding me most often now.

and really, that's the entirety of a spiritual path, listening to the options of a shout towards division or the quiet urge for mending. It's become easier for me,  an artful practice of listening, smiling at the starkness between choices, as if one could ever truly provide me peace of mind.

there's ego, loud with it's demands,

and the the Holy spirit,

only one is real.

the voice of love never needs to shout out its existence.

it's the fabric of reality.

my choice is easy.

or easier.

as I learn to truly listen.

Unhealed Healers

Unhealed healers:

it should become apparent to us, clearly so by now, that we're unable to forgive, it's simply not our ego's function and we've given it this mistaken task. This might be hard to admit as we like to pride ourselves on our forgiving nature - and yet so often we're still left wounded, a lingering hurt, carried over through the years.

we're unhealed healers.

unable to mend ourselves or others.

but the only mistake here is in choosing the wrong healer. We've asked ourselves to perform a task we're unsuitable for and then cause even more friction within ourselves. The ego isn't meant to forgive, it's a mistake identity that has gain too much traction through our minds. It does serve a useful function though, pointing out all what's been left unhealed and how they will continuously resurface in so many hurtful ways. That's the ego's job, pointing out distinctions, showing us a world of division that's in desperate need of mending.

we're incapable of healing.

yet there is a healer within us all.

and that's the Holy Spirit, our true guide and teacher. Forgiveness is not the ego's function and that's actually glorious news. We're not ego. That's what the Holy spirit continuously whispers to us from within, giving us real identity in its quiet voice of love. Our role, our one and only job, is to turn everything over to that which always heals, forgiveness being the Holy Spirits very nature. So we're really not asked to do very much at all - to just recognize the right teacher, the aspect of ourselves that's always ready to forgive, instantly and surely.

and with that...

we're healed.

everything's forgiven.

Remembering

Remembering:

the miracle is my defense, asking for the right mind to be shown to me and trusting in the gentleness of its protection. At any moment I can ask for this, and it's so easy when things align my way. Yet in difficult times the urge remains to counter-attack, offering up the ego's plan for my salvation. Of course it doesn't work, never has in the past and remains just as ineffectual now.

asking for a miracle, a shift in perception...

and forgiveness becomes possible.

but first I have to ask for that miracle, reminding myself of the folly of the ego - and have a little willingness to let go of any resentments. I love how a near lifetime of practice comes rushing to the moment I remind myself of this, that I have all the tools of miracles at my disposal, and with simply asking for a miracle I place myself directly in the care of Holy Spirit.

it's the easiest thing to do.

as long as I remember.

and that's really the only practice needed - just a little willingness to see every attack not as a justification to prove myself worthy of defense, but that my safety lies only through forgiveness. What's important here is availability, and forgiveness is always present, forthcoming the instant it's requested. So really, it's not even about remembering...

only how long I'm willing to suffer,

before the miracle of forgiveness is requested.

Our Reply

Our reply:

how easy it is to fall back into the habit of critiquing others, an energy of subtle significance which traps us again into listening to ego. Yoga psychology would call this Samskara, an emotional pattern imprinted through the mind by long and frequent use. A Course in Miracles simply calls it another voice of ego and reminds us that we have a choice - to relinquish our own ego that recognizing only the need to correct others, an outward focus on form alone,

or simply view others through the eyes of love.

and once more asking the Holy Spirit to be our guide.

it's a clear choice, ego is always concerned with the outer form of every complaint, how it takes shape as the appearance of another. While the Holy Spirit doesn't recognize form at all, asking only that we turn within and make a gentle correction to the content that we offer to the world. This is about radical honestly and self-recognition, that our projections are giving rise to everything seen and heard, and that our role isn't to critique others, it's not to offer complaints about the world...but to only and always recognize our projections for what they truly are -

a heart-felt plea for healing.

and our reply to this,

is love.

Early Lessons

Early lessons:

those early lessons given from the workbook of A Course in Miracles, maybe the first 50, so difficult, demanding really, stripping me bare of every previously held notion of myself. The Course took everything away from me, leaving an empty slate for the truth of God to be written. It's little wonder that it took me well over a decade to finally work my through the entire workbook. Truthfully, I'm surprised I ever made it past the first one:

nothing I see in this room (or anywhere)

means anything.

and the Course doesn't even give me anything to hold onto, nothing that felt very solid at least, until around lesson 29. It's there I began to feel a glimmer of where the Course was leading me. The whole basis for true vision is given here:

God is in everything I see.

but in order to get here my previous view of life, how I saw the world, and most importantly my own best opinions of myself - all of it had to be seen through and then discarded. The course emptied me of notions and left me there for a bit, no rushed to be filled, asking to just notice the void and be still, quiet, and relearn the art of simply listening, seeing, being.

sometimes I think I could work with those early lessons, never a need to go any further, continuously emptied of any beliefs that gain traction - and then  rediscovering that divine presence withing. That alone would be a wonderful practice.Someday, I'll probably leave the Course behind, or with brief revisits to refresh my heart and mind. Those early lessons will strip me bare one last time, emptied again, and only love will then remain...

 nothing more ever added.

Lessons

Lessons:

it's just the same lesson, repeatedly endlessly it seems, and only the form ever changes, the content itself always remains singular in its solution. I've always resisted this idea, never liking the analogy of life as a classroom with lessons we must learn. Yet looking back through the years I see repeated patterns that if recognized, would indeed have been a tremendous lesson learned.

saving me much suffering.

A Course in Miracles offers a different take here, yes, there's the analogy of the classroom, but it isn't setup as a means of graduation. The only concern is to wake up, ending our own suffering and then extending this peace to others.

it's a much needed lesson to learn.

the only one, really.

from the Course workbook:

all things are lessons God would have me learn.

and it truly comes down to this -

every unforgiven thought only needs correction.

so with this,

as it is with every lesson...

forgive,

and I will see this, everything, different.

Only Love

Only love:

and then comes the Holy Relationships, those drawn to a greater healing between two that will then extend itself towards the entire world. These are shared values, guided by the Holy Spirit, and the self-interest of each is surrendered to the whole. No, it's not an easy path, made available only to those who are committed to forgiveness and the way of love.

it's a life guided by the Holy Spirit.

listening,

deeply so,

and then living with the message heard.

again, the Holy Spirit here is our own truest voice, one that only and always whispers to us of love. Anything else is the shout of ego, defending it's demands, fortifying illusions, and drawing non-existent lines between us. A Holy Relationship is simply the choice of listening, hearing, and paying attention to one voice of love over the pettiness of ego,

it's a commitment made to each other,

a vow to remember only love,

and with that -

we begin to heal the world.

Once More

Once More:

and we're healed through what A Course in Miracles calls the Holy Instant, being just a moment when are private thoughts about the world fall aside and all that's left is the purity of who we truly are. This is eternity, with no touch of our dreaming of time, only seeming to last an instant. Yet it's here that we are revealed, reality is shown, and we're never quite the same after.

the Holy Instant is who we are.

finally seen,

once more.

Special Relationships

Special relationships:

it becomes a shift of values, how my every relationship is now examined under the light of forgiveness, exposing them for the base support they offer to my ego. This is what A Course in Miracles calls "Special relationships" they're props that keep us firmly in denial to the reality of love. If I see anyone as offering an opportunity to bargain for my worth, or allowing me to feel as if their own value is somehow less than mine - then I have assuredly assigned them a role they do not truly own.

we make these relationships through hate and affection, they're all judgment based, and subject to a quick change of our consideration. I might value someone for how they invoke my sense of romantic love and then be dismayed as my heart gets broken. How bitterness follows sadness, resentments set in, and this once true love is now special in an entirely different way. Yet this was never truly love, only a device for the ego to measure its importance. The Course tells us, our hearts remind us too, that love has no opposite, every relationship is valued equally for its worth.

love is always all accepting.

or it isn't truly love.

so my special relationships are really tools of transformation, to just bring awareness to the values I assign to others, observing how my moods might shift in their presence. There's no dramatic change here, it's just a moments meditation as I remind myself that the presence of love is present in every situation and encounter. And with this soft notice...

my relationships are transformed.

seen as holy.

for that's the truth of what they are.

Activist

Activist:

at this point it feels like I'm called to be an activist, bringing great change to the world at large, and to do so without ever having to leave my home. It's up to me to be the healing that we all desperately need right now.

it's up to you as well.

A Course in Miracles reminds us that this is not the real world, it's an illusion of miscreation and only waits for the gentle thoughts of our correction. That's our activism, starting this moment and with a simply choice of aligning ourselves with reality, a true vision of how to see each other and the world. The reminder to clear, direct, easy to follow:

only loving thoughts are real.

anything else is an appeal for healing.

our role as activists to to heal, reinterpreting the false narrative of ego entirely to the voice of love. It's really not so difficult to do, and little effort is required of us other than our surrender. The world we see is our creation, made of of our most quiet thoughts of fear and desperation. We've judged ourselves unworthy of anything more, believing that we'er small, separate from the source of love, and undeserving of a better world. Our entrapment keeps us idle, or perhaps worse, busy with tasks that only serve to further our commitment to this delusion.

our busyness distracts us from the softest voice of love,

whispering of awakeness,

calling for our action.

so we're activist, and all we're asked to do is wake up and allow the illusions of this world fade to the greater light we now offer. It's a quiet task, no one even has to know that we're actively changing the world. But through this one choice, by just recognizing and hearing an appeal for healing...

we'll make all the difference in the world.

Love, Eric

To Justify

To justify:

perhaps the most common expression in relation to the ego, as read in A Course in Miracles, is the word justify and its variations. It is, indeed, and apt term to use and I'm amazed at how subtle its usage is by my own ego so very often. Really, it's an insidious energy, how almost all of my unmet demands, my resentments, and grievances, however slight or grand, can be justified. This is all it takes for the ego to run with every thought of perceived mistreatment. In just an instant we've built our case against another, condemning those we've judged hurtful or against us to a prison sentence within our minds.

ego justifies a closed off heart.

here's the simple instructions as offered by the Holy Spirit -

no hurt against another is ever justified, our own pain is not an excuse to close our hearts and refuse to offer forgiveness. Yes, simple instructions, but not exactly easy. Or at least not so for the ego, truly, it's an impossible task for it to perform as ego will always justify it's every misperception. This is why we don't turn to the ego for forgiveness, it's only role is to bargain for its favor.

forgiveness belongs solely to the Holy Spirit.

so really,

our task is to turn our every grievance over to a greater understanding.

it's that simply.

maybe even easy.

here's the formula as offered by A Course in Miracles:

every loving thought is true.

anything else is an appeal for healing or help,

no matter what form it might take.

and our only justified response -

is a willingness to love.

Only What is Real

Only what is real;

an unforgiving thought is one that's not questioned The mind is closed around such judgments so as to make them absolutely real and without room for any healing to occur. When this happens our every grievance becomes real, and resentments solidify as our view of the world. Yet still they remain just thoughts projected outward, continuously remembered, almost cherished really.

and never once questioned so it seems.

A Course in Miracle reminds us that what we thought happened didn't occur, not in the actuality of the Holy Spirit, which only views things through the present moment and only through the eyes of love. So all we're asked to do, as far as forgiveness is concerned, is to bring to mind the reality of this moment, a holy instant that's always free of past and never holds resentments.

that's it,

really, we do nothing,

the entirety of forgiveness is simply resting in this moment.

and accepting only what is real.

Light

Light:

so the nature of light, being synonymous with love, is always to extend itself in an all embracing reach, unconditionally, and without making any distinctions. Once directed - there is no place where light refuses to shine. We are that light, we're love, in essence and practicality. Our only role here is to extend this light to our own darkened corners, an illusion really as love is never truly absent,

and through this,

shining brightly from within...

we now begin to the illuminate the entire world.

as there's only light to give.

Lesson 33

Lesson 33

it often feels as if a single lesson contains the entirety of the Course, that if properly understood, deeply so, just one lesson would be enough. This probably true, as really, this isn't new information at all, but rather a revelation of what we's always known about ourselves. Lesson 33 from the workbook of A Course in Miracles tells us that there's another way of looking at the world. Imagine, everything witnessed right now could be reevaluated and seen through the lens of love.

reality.

we could see ourselves another way.

but of course we don't know that's even possible, it seems beyond us, or perhaps requiring such great effort that we're too intimidated to even try. It only takes a shift though, more of a letting go than anything else., surrendering to a greater field of vision than our own limited view. Lesson 33 asks for just a little bit of faith, a willingness to believe such of shift is possible.

and that something better might exists.

we're only asked to try.
