Ask

Ask:

but first I ask - for me to give anything of value I have to possess it, realizing that it's truly mine to now give away. I know with certainty my purpose in life, my dharma role I'm meant to play, and it's nothing that's been assigned to me by ego, my false sense of self and the belief system that it holds.

I am here only to be truly helpful.

I am here to love.

I am here to forgive the world of my every illusion.

but first I have to invite the presence of love more fully in my life, a request to Holy Spirit for loving thoughts to be recognized and then received before giving these ideas away. These are the purest thoughts of God, already and always present in my mind, yet long neglected. So I am asking the Holy Spirit to help me remember, to bring this loving presence into my awareness.

and then once remembered...

give it all away,

completely.

but first - I have to ask.

~

I love you, Eric

Ask

Ask:

and what if the purpose is to heal,or that anything that seems to provoke us is simply an unrecognized call for love? Our own interpretation is always wrong, and this is true only because the ego thrives in it's reactions, an illusion given a purpose of defending its existence. So it's here that we ask for a miracle, a reinterpretation of an event or person as seen through the light of the Holy Spirit. This may be well after any hurt that's occurred, maybe even years later, and yet time itself is meaningless to our own peace of mind. Ask for the miracle now, the moment that we're ready, be patient, quiet...ready to receive.

our request is always answered.

forgive.

and then see the world a different way.

To Ask

To ask:

all it takes is a miracle, and as the Course reminds us, miracles are natural and it's when they don't happen that we know something has gone wrong. As well, there's no order of difficulties here, no degrees of asking, a miracle is given through the sincerity of our request.

and yet it always seems we wait so long to ask.

allowing ourselves to suffer way longer than we should.

a miracles, as offered by A Course in Miracles, is simply a change of perception, a shift away from the grievances held and fully to the grace of forgiveness. It's the easiest thing to ask for, not even a cry for help, but more of a gentle reach for comfort - and it's never denied. We have to remember to ask though, to just remember that it's possible to be released from our suffering.

we will be guided.

all it takes is for a little willingness...

that's it.

be willing to ask for help.

open to a direction.

and then surrender to the answer of forgiveness.

Ask

Ask:

forgiveness is difficult as long as I'm alone in attempting this endeavor, trying to do the impossible, and it's only through being humbled by my inability to truly forgive - that I finally approach a complete surrender, asking for the grace and ease of a miracle,

and it's then that peace is found.

I only ever had to ask.

the miracle is a mind shift, I'm asking for my perception of a given event, person, or situation to be changed so that I may view the world a different way. I can't do this alone, my every attempt in the past has left me angry and confused. Forgiveness is the work of miracles, and we're all entitled to them, continuously so -

but we do have to ask.

for some,  it might be easier to invoke the presence of a holy figure that seems to hold the entirety of a loving universe within their gaze. For others, maybe an impersonal force love will work just fine. It doesn't really matter, it's being willing to surrender that gives cause to miracles, a true wish to let go of every grievances that imprisons us in a world of hate and resentments.

yet it's the asking that triggers a response.

only then will a miracle occur.

it's all we have to do.

sincerely so.
