Unmoved Allowance

In a world of things passing - we alone remain in stillness. Our essential nature is the groundwork that lends itself to the shift of form against it. We are the unmoved allowance serving in vital function to the motion of the world.

~
We are the allowance of contrast - our stillness provides the ground for things that move, our silence is the template for the world to sing, and our essential emptiness is what allows life to be in all of its complexities. As runners we remain in stillness, as singers we are silent background to the note, and as life itself we stay as emptiness for the promise of all possibilities. It's a paradox. It's how things are.

An Empty, Headless, Space Of Mystery

Looking no farther - our own view is a gaze within the infinite. There is sight, and more, there is an awareness of that which is seen. At no point are we divided from the origin of sight and the out flowing world of light and form. We can return our gaze directly to the source - an empty, headless, space of mystery. Is the seer seen? Or is this a faceless reality, awake in its allowance for all things to be? Look no further, here, a view found in both directions - and find out what is really seen.

~

It's weird, but we've never actually seen our head. There have been photos, reflections, and description that have been give - yet no one has actually seen that in which sight emerges. There are sensations, and we can trace the contours of where we think a head should be. But does this qualify as a head? Douglas Harding, through his writing and wisdom guides the reader through the actual experience of pointing and finding an awake absence where the head should be. In an instant I "saw" (without seeing a thing) my own spacious reality. And now I practice this seeing - first, my own headlessness, and then the unique (yet very common) view: in the space in which my head should be - I find the world, and further still, expanding (ever expanding) I find the universe. And it's all right here, where I thought my head belonged. In the practical sense - this is where I find distance. My steps are just the formality of self exploration of my own headlessness.

Within The Infinite Pleasure of Not Knowing

It's a direct path - the immediacy of steps and breath brings us to a present seeing. It's all here, unfettered in its entirety, distance is both view and the spread of our awareness. Our urge is not so much to seek, as it is to explore the realm of our existence. We are exploring our own mystery within the infinite pleasure of not knowing. And so to look directly we find ourselves as unknowable, spacious, and yet familiar as the steps and breath and the view in which we hold the world.

~
Running takes us nowhere. Exactly where everything is always found.

Eric

No Line Drawn Through Existence

Not found - there is no line drawn through existence. Even form is contoured by its compliance to the senses. In truth it is seamless in its flow of continuation. One thing is seen as many in its show of duality - it's the pleasure of mystery to know itself as form in brief caress against its own formlessness.

~
With no lines found - there is no point of our departure and every step is complete in its arrival. Distance than cannot be measure. And there is nowhere that we're not found.

Peace,
Eric

Of A Greater Mystery Still

No cause for our arising - existence is the
pleasure of a greater mystery
still

Unknown - yet at no time separate.

~
Distance is its own reward - as is the motion used in its exploration. Mystery reveals itself as unanswerable in all but the pleasure of our asking. We are seekers in the presence of all that we've been seeking - and still the mystery will unfold in ways that can't be answered. Running brings us to an arbitrary finish. Yet distance always stretches on.

Eric

From Offered Space

And no less an embrace than found in arms - our gaze is given from the depth of spacious wonder. We are sanctuaries for one another. Our view holds the purpose of an offered space of shared awareness. A return is traced to boundless origins - we are not held in an outward glance but in a continued seeing that is more than eyes alone. This is our seamless meeting, two points again recognized as one. Our gaze - no less an invitation.

~
Distance starts behind the eyes - our own spaciousness, empty awareness in need of form. It flows from here for the pleasure of steps and eyes to roam.

Peace,
Eric

Indeed This Is A Sacred View

Exchanged - and now found sacred in the view we hold for one another. It's this capacity, open in the allowance of us each to be the embrace of what is seen. Our gaze is directed outward to fill the emptiness that belongs only for such purpose. We fill ourselves with each other, with the world, and with our view stretched towards the infinite. Our own spaciousness becomes the seen and still there's room for always more. In truth - you are my becoming and I am yours. Indeed this is a sacred view.

~
One step - exchanged for distance. A single glance to become the sky. Running takes us to the opportunity to become the world.

Peace,
Eric
