One Mind

One mind:

ideas are of the mind, and the mind is all encompassing in its reach. There is nothing outside of this. That's the clear metaphysics of A Course in Miracles and it addresses both the nature of our problem as well as the immediacy of its solution.

ideas leave not their source.

the problem is our ideas about the world, believing that we have somehow separated from the very source of creation, and that are adrift within an impersonal universe that doesn't care for our well-being. There is also immense guilt that we have caused our own downfall, having been removed from the metaphorical garden for the sin of seeking knowledge. We, our one mind, individually and collectively project this mis-belief outwards in the world's creation, with no idea leaving its source, and so we're now entrapped in a seemingly hopeless situation.

and yet,

ideas leave not their source.

and the original idea is of our innocence, existing still in the mind of God even at this very moment. So the solution of our miscreation is in simply remembering where we truly are right now - one mind, existing already and always within the reality of heaven. This isn't metaphorical, although the language is poetically descriptive - heaven is here, God is the One Mind of reality,

and we have never left the Source.

with this...

our ideas turn only to awakening.

Split Mind

Split mind:

so the premise is that ideas leave not their source, and that the world we experience is based upon the very thoughts we share. A Course in Miracles states that we're of a split mind, or at least we have a belief that this is so - in actuality there is only one holy mind, divinely connected to it's source, and we have self-imagined a false mind that's created the world we now have.

ideas leave not their source.

our answer then is to heal the split mind, returning to source, heaven,

extending ourselves from there.

and heal the world.

Ideas

Ideas:

a central theme throughout A Course in Miracles is that ideas leave not their source, that a thought itself is never separate from the mind and only the effects seem apart from it. With this in mind we see that the world is an effect of our perceptions, created through continuous thought and maintained by a belief systems that's largely unexamined.

our world is made of mind stuff.

however, based on fear, guilt of our apparent separation, we have only created an illusory world that's filled with much sorrow and struggle. A misuse of our true power. But a change is possible, it's simple, and only takes a bit of our attention.

let's just make another world.

simple.

we've created an illusory world based upon misperception, meaning that our perceptions have missed the mark of reality. So here we are. Yet it only takes a mind-shift for reality to show through, that beyond this world is another already made from the mind of love.

ideas leave not their Source.

we are an idea in the mind of God.

existing already as love.

and that's the world of our true creation.

we only need look deeper.

and see...that beyond illusion -

only love is real.

My Most Inspired Words

My most inspired words:

it's that inspiration doesn't leave it's source, a vital thought for me as I write each morning, kept in mind as I await just the right words to reach me. This original point is made clear in A Course in Miracles, it's lesson 132 as well as mentioned several times within the text. What I find is that there's only one true source of inspiration and then there is an illusion that pulls me into a false belief of ego being the origin of my most inspired words.

there's a very stark difference here.

ideas leave not there source.

and my every inspired word comes from their place of origin, having a sense of purity in their whisper to me, reaching the page with a final certainty of being heard and truly worthy. Yet almost as often I find that I write from a stance firmly planted in ego, and my words reflect this difference. My choice is always clear, not really even being an option, but more of a surrender...

I am an inspired idea within the mind of God, reality itself, a thought-form of the cosmos. I leave not my source, not ever, and my every word will always reflect this. What I surrender to is love, it's my origin and source of inspiration -

and in my very best moments,

this is where I write from.
