We're wrong:
you are wrong, and so am I -we all are, simply mistaken in our interpretation of people and event, falsely seeing guilt and sin where innocence always reigns. This is a hard point to come to, a long arrival, and yet it's a passage in the Manual for Teachers section of A Course in Miracles that finally leaps from the page in sudden inspiration.
we have only misinterpreted someone.
and we're wrong.
of course we don't place this upon anyone else, it's not our position to correct anyone but ourselves, and even this we do gently, with infinite compassion and care. Our only role is to be aware, noting what we cast out onto the world, being ever watchful of how are own projections might take hold. The only true perception is of the reality of the present moment, seeing others through the eyes of the Holy Spirit which always and only knows the certainty of our innocence. This is real forgiveness, a truly radical practice that sets us entirely free of the past and our every belief of guilt and sin.
only our innocence is found here,
right now,
it's this we wish to see in others.
our own guiltlessness reflected back to us.
and through this correction...
we heal the world.
~
Love, Eric
