To bring ourselves to God:
let's not bring God into this, we're responsible for the illusion of this world and all of our attempts to make it real will only further our cause of suffering. The cosmology of A Course in Miracles is the story of a world of our own creation, how a small belief of separation spiraled through a singular mind and brought an entire universe into being. Our only mistake, not a sin at all really, was in entertaining the notion that we could somehow be separate from the ultimate source of love.
of course that's an impossibility.
we've only dreamed this world into existence.
and our only role is to awaken.
so our prayers to a distant God to save us only affirm our separation. To bring God into this world would only seem make it real, solidifying an illusion and keeping us immersed in suffering. Our every prayer should be directed towards ourselves alone - that we awaken to divine presence now. There's no need to bring God into this world. It's an illusion, a distortion of reality, and only serves the purpose of our awakening.
the only true prayer is to bring ourselves back to God.
ending this dream of separation.
and so we simply ask...
may I awaken.
now.

Love, Eric
