Smallest things;
so what I'm hoping for is to give away a little bit of kindness, just a tiniest seed, planted through connected hearts and leading to a more peaceful world. It's a tall order, a task greater then I'm capable of performing alone. Yet fortunately, I'm only asked to do the smallest thing, often, and then repeated though a lifetime of practice.
I'm only asked to be kind to others -
to everything really.
nothing more.
this is my directive, living a life of kindness, displayed through smallest actions. It might be called a mindful life, attentive to so many things gone unnoticed. I'll be honest, I'm not very good at it, forgetful, and so often caught up in my own petty concerns. Yet a life of kindness starts here, right with my forgetful nature and repeated lessons of forgiveness,
first offered to myself,
and then extended to the smallest thing, forgotten,
and in need of my attention.
