Artist of Infinite Design

Artists of infinite design: 

and only beauty remains, our kindest acts, and our every loving thought. I love the promise from the text in A Course in Miracles, that the Holy Spirit sweeps through our past, correcting every error seemingly made, and leaving only the love that's been shared as a testament to those days. What's been cleared away is the illusion that the past exists at all, or that it has any true meaning to the present moment. Yes, of course we could argue for our past, attributing mistakes to ourselves and others and believing that those memories make us who we are today. Yet that denies the reality of this actual moment, it's freshness and the richness of this very instant. The past has no actual bearing on this...and that's the love which creates and recreates me right now. So only our true creations remain eternal, what's been done through acts of kindness and shown as beauty. This leaves us artists of infinite design, heart-full with divine potential, along the endlessness of this moment as our platform.

Now, Yoga Begins

Now, yoga begins:

really, it's about watching the mind - my yoga has arrived at the central focus of ego and the Holy Spirit, mindful of my choice between the two, and then a gentle shift back whenever I find that I have strayed from a place of loving kindness. For me, this is the yoga of forgiveness. Even on the yoga mat I bring my mind to the posture at hand, releasing all judgement of the body that's performing the pose now, being aware of the nuances of mobility that every practice period offers. A yoga teacher recently gave me a marvelous translation of the first of Patanjali's yoga sutras:

atha yoga -anushasanam...

now, the teaching of yoga begins.

and indeed, as this teacher pointed out to me, this moment,  right now, is the beginning of yoga, an entrance into the same timeless realm that forgiveness leads us to, the gateway of eternity. Releasing myself from ego's judgement, relaxing into every posture that life delivers, yoga heals me, asking me to forgive all that preceded this moment, and focus only on what's present.

and this is where love ifs found.

now, 

the teaching of yoga truly begins.

New Dawn

New dawn: 

for all to be welcomed, free of any past burdened of guilt we have laid upon others - that's where our salvation lies and the only proper use of time. This is the gift of rebirth, literally a holy instant of a continuous resurrection, and it's always offered now, right now, and nowhere else. And yet most often we  use time to condemn, bringing the past into the present moment. 

to crucify in place of redemption. 

the truth is - there's no guilt within this moment, it's all based upon the past which doesn't exist at all aside from the thoughts that we continuously project upon others. Our own freedom, our liberation, is in seeing this, and awakening from dreams of past events to the reality of this new dawn. 

in this moment, right now...

we're innocent.

and seeing this is all that matters.

welcome to this new dawn.
