A Forgiven World

A forgiven world: 

if we could just see the world as our perception, unreal in the sense that it's been filtered through our beliefs of sin and separation - forgiveness than becomes so much easier in it's practice. This takes only a slight shift, not a radical leap at all. We have simply misinterpreted the world, each other too, and our only wish now to to truly see, to hear, and know the whole story now.  

a forgiven world is ours.

To See

To see: 

with growing determination I ask to see, not solely with my eyes, but with what A Course in Miracles calls Christ's vision, a deeper evaluation of all that's seen. This is finally looking at the world through the lens of forgiveness, recognizing the innocence of everything before a single story has been told. My perception is made by either ego or Holy Spirit, and it's not a choice until there's a realization that I have falsely judged the world by virtue of my every false belief.

above all else I want to see.

and now this statement really comes across as prayer, heartfelt in it's sincerity. Tolerance for pain is indeed high, but I have reached my limit, and I am determined to forgive until the entire world is cleansed of my every misperception. 

above all else I want to see things differently. 

until only God is in everything I see,

a sincere prayer...

answered.

Invented

Invented: 

that I have invented the world I see, an early lesson in A Course in Miracles and vital in our understanding. What's meant here is that the world, and all that it entails, is a product of the mind. If I look around and see a world of evil, suffering, and division, it's only a matter of the thought system chosen, my beliefs given completely to the ego. Yet there's always another choice, that even through my miscreation there is an option of another world that exist beneath illusory vision that I now offer. This isn't a battle of good vs. evil, it's not God against dark forces - it's a choice, simple and clear. 

choose love.

only. 

and the world shifts in your perception.

Perception

Perception: 

what forgiveness truly does, at least when put in practice, is simply correct our perception, that we see how our minds have projected a vision of the world that is filled with grievances and what feels like justified resentments. We forgive our own projections and in this way - 

we perceive the world another way.

now through the eyes of love.

and this is our original vision of the world.

innocent,

whole,

without need for our forgiveness.

as only love is real.
