Everything I Want

Everything I want: 

I'm finding that it truly is a life of continuous forgiveness, everything's a lesson in my practice, and what once might have been overlooked as an insignificant grievance is now a wonderful opportunity to extend myself as love. This is meditation off the cushion, everyday zen, practicing seeing the reality of Christ within any given situation. It's not quite second nature, not yet, but closer, becoming easier and more immediate in the smile I offer to the world. Once again I'm stuck by the weight of lesson 122 from A Course in Miracles...

indeed, 

forgiveness offers everything I want.

Everything I Want

Everything I want:

forgiveness promises no less than the present moment, a true awareness that here, right now, the past doesn't exist at all aside from the thoughts that continuously draw us back. Lesson 122 of A Course in Miracles tells us that forgiveness offers everything we want, delivering peace, joy, and a sure spiritual awakening. We don't forgive as any sort of action, it's only an acknowledgement of every moment's innocence, repeatedly, until we finally find ourselves in the joy of this awareness.

as nothing exists...

that isn't in this moment.
