As a bridge:
as with so much, A Course in Miracles lays it our rather starkly, that the body too is an illusion, a construct of the mind that either serves ego or the Holy Spirit. If we see ourselves only as a body, and see others as separate bodies navigating through a difficult world - our perception then shows us this is so. This view is invaluable to the ego in order to maintain its sense of self importance and control. The Holy Spirit sees it otherwise. The body, being a symbol of separation and loneliness, riddled with anxiety and a a great deal of fear - is now repurposed for the sole means of extending love.
more truly so...our bodies act as a bridge.
and through this use,
I reach myself to you.
connecting.

I love you, Eric
