To serve forgiveness:
we could say that they sole purpose of the past is to serve forgiveness, that it exist only as long memory holds to it within this present moment, and once forgiven, it's then no more. Karma show us that, yes, there are consequences that carry forward, lingering effects, and even deep wounds. Nothing is bypassed here, every wound acknowledged and brought to the healing light that's offered right now. We are not the end result of past trauma, but a present moment awareness that chooses only love...for that is what we truly are.
forgiveness simply reminds us that this is so.
